Silver,every day.
Film, 12s loop — the studio at 8am: benches, torches, Elenor sawing a band, window light
ByElenor started at a kitchen table with a jeweller's saw, a borrowed torch and one opinion: the things you wear most should be the things you love most.
Elenor trained as a sculptor and fell into jewelry by accident — making rings for friends who couldn't find anything they wanted to wear every day. The first collection was twelve pieces, sold from a folding table at a Providence market.
Today the studio is six people and a ten-minute walk from the caster we've worked with since the start. We still make everything in small runs, still in sterling silver, and still with the same question: would you wear it on a Tuesday?

How a piece is made
Four stages, about three weeks.Fewer things, made better.
All of our sterling is 100% recycled and certified. Packaging is recycled card and cotton, and nothing ships in plastic.
We make pieces in batches of fifty or fewer. It means less waste, and room to improve a design between runs.
Snapped chains, bent hoops, lost backs — send any ByElenor piece back and we will fix it, free, for as long as you own it.

Our Providence studio is open Thursday to Saturday by appointment. Come in, try everything, and see what's on the bench.
